5.4 to Soumya Sarkar, Soumya misses a full-toss has been given out lbw by umpire Hannibal. Wide of the crease, full-toss, slanting in from round the wicket, Soumya plays all around it and is pinned on the front pad in line with middle. This would have crashed into leg stump and Soumya has to exit. Soumya pondered over a review, but rightly decided against it in the end. 26/1 45.3 to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Spliced into the lap of mid-off. Slower variation from Pradeep, legcutter from the back of the hand, Mehidy has a big slog at it, but gets it high on the bat and pops a catch to Dimuth. 201/7
Isuru Udana | 10 | 0 | 58 | 2 | 5.80 | 27 | 5 | 1 | 1 | 0 |
8.1 to Tamim Iqbal, Tamim has chopped on! Shortish and wide outside off - possibly wider than a set of stumps outside off - Tamim is drawn to the width like a magnet. He throws his hands at the ball with his feet nailed to the crease. He can only drag a thick inside edge back onto the stumps. Udana and Sri Lanka won't mind this one bit. One can't force shots on this sluggish track. 31/2 31.5 to Mosaddek Hossain, another short one and he tries to help it along past the keeper as he had couple of balls ago but this one bounced a little extra, was also the slower ball, which meant he was though the stroke too early, just kissed the edge of the bat through to the keeper and Bangladesh are really staring down the barrel now. 117/6
Lahiru Kumara | 10 | 0 | 42 | 0 | 4.20 | 36 | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 |
Akila Dananjaya | 10 | 0 | 39 | 2 | 3.90 | 34 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 0 |
14.3 to Mohammad Mithun, Welcome back, Akila Dananjaya! Dangled up outside off, full, breaks in, dips, creating distance between the bat and the pitch of the ball. Mithun can only pop it in the air to Kusal Mendis at straight midwicket. 52/3 18.6 to Mahmudullah, Got him!! He went back looking for the cut due to the flatter trajectory and the line outside off, but it spun back sharply and took the top off much to Sri Lanka's elation. Bangladesh in trouble but this pitch is already playing tricks. 68/4 |

11.3 to FDM Karunaratne, through him and Mehidy roars! Dimuth has a tendency to clear his front leg to play through the off side, this one was cleverly pushed through, and caught Dimuth rooted to the crease, resulting in a deflection off the flap of the pad back on to the stumps as the ball skid on to him after pitching. 71/1

20.4 to WIA Fernando, Another cutter from Mustafizur, this one nabs Avishka. He rolls his fingers across this short ball outside off. It kicks up at Avishka, who is early into the pull as well. He winds up splicing a catch to Tamim running to his right from mid-on. Played, Avishka. It was good fun. 129/2 24.4 to MDKJ Perera, full and outside off, Kusal drills it on the up... straight to short cover. Driven into the lap of Soumya Sarkar, and that's another opening for Bangladesh. 146/3
