Khaka, Ntozakhe knock Bangladesh out for 89

Ayabonga Khaka's first 14 balls at Senwes Park were sensational. She secured career-best 3 for 13, helped skittle Bangladesh for 89 - their third-lowest total in ODIs - and set up South Africa's nine-wicket win - their largest margin of victory against Bangladesh in terms of wickets - with 32.5 overs to spare.

Opening the attack with Shabnim Ismail, after Bangladesh elected to bat, Khaka took out the top three. She bowled Sanjida Islam and Faragana Hoque, the top-scorer from the series opener, and had Murshida Khatun caught behind. The early strikes left the visitors reeling at 10 for 3 inside six overs.

That there was little recovery from Bangladesh after the top-order crumbled was partially down to Raisibe Ntozakhe, who ran through the middle order with her offspin, claiming 3 for 16 - her maiden three-wicket haul.

Only three batsmen managed double-digit scores. Panna Ghosh had a day to remember though, helping Bangladesh record their best ninth-wicket partnership a day after being involved in their best tenth-wicket partnership. She top-scored with 20 off 54 balls.

South Africa continued dominating the game with openers Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt stitching together a second consecutive fifty stand. After Lee fell for a 37-ball 32, Wolvaardt and Trisha Chetty build on the 65-run opening stand with an unbeaten 37 and 13 respectively and sealed the chase in the 18th over. South Africa are now 2-0 up in the five-match series.
