4.4 to CA Lynn, that is a stunner from Michael Lumb at deep midwicket. It was short, Lynn picked the bones out of that short ball, pulled that one in front of square. It was hit flat and hard, the momentum was such that it could have taken the fielder over the ropes with it, but Lumb ran to his right, positioned himself nicely and made it look ridiculously easy. The big-hitting Lynn is gone, Heat in early trouble. 34/2
4 | 0 | 35 | 1 | 8.75 | 12 | 5 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
1.4 to JJ Peirson, this time, the wild heave over midwicket lobs high in the air as Bollinger takes a simple catch at backward point. This wasn't all that full, a touch of extra bounce, got the top edge as he went through with that cross-batted swat and Doug caught it well.. 12/1

4 | 0 | 45 | 1 | 11.25 | 6 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
12.4 to LMP Simmons, this time the opportunity has been gleefully accepted by Doug Bollinger at long-off. Botha fired it in flat, he looked to clear the ropes again but couldn't get underneath it. Gem of an innings nevertheless. Chancy at times, but executed his strokes well for most parts. 107/3
2 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 11.00 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
16.1 to NJ Reardon, comes back in from wide of the crease, he looks to whip the length ball to the on side, the ball skid on to beat him and crash into the middle stump. 136/4
2 | 0 | 8 | 3 | 4.00 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
17.4 to JA Burns, length ball this time outside off, he looks to fetch it to deep midwicket, hits it well, but Michael Lumb in the deep times his jump well to take it inches off the ropes. Was well aware of the possibility of going over, but held his balance and composure to take it cleanly.. 146/5 19.3 to BCJ Cutting, slower one on off, he slogs that across the line, no power behind the stroke as the long on fielder takes an easy catch. 159/6 19.4 to JS Floros, angles a slower one across the batsman, he looks to slap it over point, ends up slicing it to the fielder running in from deep cover. Easily done. Abbott on a hat-trick. 159/7 |

18.5 to NM Lyon, goes straight down the ground, it was another slower ball, picked it off the hand, hit it pretty well but Joe Burns holds on at long off. Nearly over-ran but recovered to take it well.. 142/8

7.2 to NCR Larkin, this one rips across the surface from off, wasn't all that short, he gets down on one knee an then looks to force that over point, only manages to get a thin edge through to the keeper, excellent catch. 46/2 15.1 to JC Silk, cracking delivery this! He dropped a sitter in the previous over, redeems himself this time. Bowls a flipper that lands on middle and skids on, he's late on the stroke, looks to play across the line, misses and the ball cannons into the stumps. 111/5

17.2 to BJ Haddin, the slower ball on off flies off the outside edge to Swepson who takes a superb catch diving to his right at short third man. Good chance of pace, Haddin looked to go over cover, ended up slicing it and the youngster took an excellent catch. Hasn't he redeemed himself after that drop?. 130/6 17.4 to BJ Dwarshuis, looks to slog across the line, another slower ball, takes a thick outside edge that is gleefully accepted by the keeper. Bit of grip on the surface did the trick there. 131/7

13.5 to MJ Lumb, goes full from round the stumps, the ball drifts back in, it was pushed through quicker, Lumb was looking to go across the line but saw the stumps disturbed just as he jammed his bat down on that one. 99/4 |
