Kieron Pollard, picked for the West Indies preliminary World Cup squad, made 69 before being caught by Veerasammy Permaul off Narsingh Deonarine. Ganga, their captain, decided to declare after losing the fourth wicket when Dwayne Bravo was run out on 21.
