15.2 to DJ Malan, hacked across the line, and Malan has feathered it! Another short ball, but a fraction fuller, and a thin under-edge. A good hand from Malan, but he's gone just as he was posed to cut loose. 116/3

5.1 to JM Bairstow, taken at mid-off! Williamson lunging to hold on. They've sent it upstairs with the soft signal out. This is a pretty friendly delivery first up from Milne - full and right there for the cover drive outside off. Bairstow goes with hard hands and can't keep it down. It dips to Williamson's left and he has taken this well above the ground and there's no doubt on the replays. The Bairstow experiment doesn't quite work out for England, New Zealand have stemmed the flow. 37/1

8.1 to JC Buttler, Buttler's been given lbw and he reviews. It's a legbreak, good length and turning away from middle and off. He brings out the reverse sweep and misses. Rapped in front of off stump. Was it turning away enough to miss? It wasn't! Huge wicket for New Zealand. That's hitting the middle of off stump. England lose Buttler, England lose a review, and it is Ish Sodhi doing the business for New Zealand once again. 53/2

19.2 to LS Livingstone, holes out to long-off! Livingstone kneels into a drill over the off side, reaching into the full-length wide ball, but he can't clear the ropes, nor beat Santner stationed on the edge of them!. 156/4

0.3 to MJ Guptill, taken at mid-on! It's a full ball at leg stump, some bend towards the off stump but nothing significant movement-wise. But it's just enough to draw the leading edge as Guptill closes the face too soon on his attempted flick. Massive blow. 4/1 2.4 to KS Williamson, they've got him! Lots of dots in Williamson's innings and in the end he's tried to break the shackles with a ramp shot. It's gone terribly wrong, he's top edged it to Adil Rashid's right at short fine and that is taken comfortably. Good length and rising at an off stump line and he was down early to try and put this away. Not to be. 13/2

17.6 to JDS Neesham, back of a length, a slap from Neesham... straight at Morgan in the covers! Another googly, wide line, Neesham's weight was going the wrong way, Morgan juggles it but clings on. A lifeline from Rashid's final ball... but has he turned the game too far for New Zealand?. 147/5

13.4 to DP Conway, dragged down the track, beaten by the lack of turn! Out of the front of the hand from Livingstone, Conway runs straight past it in his eagerness to get a move on, and Buttler flicks off the bails. A valiant hand, but a vital incision!. 95/3 15.1 to GD Phillips, tossed up on off stump, driven through the line, but it's a spiralling leading edge!. Billings sets himself at long-off, and makes no mistake! Huge wicket! Livingstone is dragging this contest England's way now.... 107/4 |
