Stanikzai: "161 was a good score but they played well to win. The guys are disappointed but we will still try to qualify."

Afzal: "We played well from the first over till the end. We always believed we could chase down 162. We gave everything in this game."

Nowroz Mangal gets the Man of the Match award for his half-century. "It was tough to bat early. It is a hard loss, but we can still qualify for the World T20."

What a match to begin the playoffs. Hong Kong therefore, book themselves a spot in the World T20 and will play the semi-final of the World T20 Qualifier against Scotland. Nabi delivered two bad full tosses to Afzal which changed the match. However, Afghanistan are not yet eliminated. They will play against PNG in Qualifier 3.

Low full toss again from Nabi, but Babar manages to hit it past cover, where it is fielded at long-on but they easily come back for two. A wide throw has given Hong Kong a spot in the World T20 in India. As soon as it beat cover, they were always going to run two but Najibullah at long-off collected cleanly but returned the throw right in the middle of the pitch. Huge win for Hong Kong

Babar on strike for the last ball.
