Beaten on the sweep, hits the pad and it's given out straight away. Was on off and the length ball kept low. Kartikeya went on one knee and tried to whack it through square leg but the shooter went below the bat and hit the pad. Saurabh knew it was it gone
The postponed Irani cup is done and Rest of India win their second trophy on the trot. India's domestic season is now done and the IPL will start soon. The WPL is already underway. Follow ESPNcricinfo to hop along the cricket carnival. Hope you enjoyed the coverage here. On behalf of everyone involved, goodbye.
Agarwal collects the trophy and walks to the members of the squad and hands the trophy to Jaiswal in the middle. He walks to the side as the players are all smiles in front of the banner reading 'Champions'. A few cheers and smiles with players having arms across team-mates' shoulders continues the celebrations. Lots of smiles as Rest of India cap off the win.
Mayank Agarwal, ROI Captain: Very happy for the kind of cricket we played. There was good intent and intensity. The stand between Yashaswi and Easwaran made the difference, especially at the pace they scored. Happy with the way Saini's evolved as a bowler and he led the attack well. Getting the guys together for one game is the major challenge. Looking forward to the IPL. You gotta take these one-off games in your stride and move on, look forward to joining Sunrisers.
Yashaswi Jaiswal, POTM: If I'd remained not out and gotten a 300 in the first innings, it'd have been better but I'm happy. Initially, the ball was moving and I was trying to bat through when they were bowling well. I was discussing the bowlers' plan with my partner and back my game. On day 1, when I had an experienced partner in Easwaran, it was easier as he was guiding me. It was amazing to bat with him and the seniors, it was a good learning for me. I need to work on a lot of shots on different types of wickets, and adapt to different situations and conditions. I'm excited to join the IPL camp now, hopefully it'll be a good experience and I will be able to express myself.
Himanshu Mantri, MP Captain:Tough match for us, but if we'd done better on the first day we'd have done better. More than the toss, if we'd restricted them them to a lower score or had not conceded a big lead, we could have competed more. Solanki played well, unlucky for Aquil in both innings but the youngsters will learn. Chandrakant Pandit has done well with us, he's taken care which is important. Him and the support staff have supported us and have kept us positive. We are heading in the right direction overall as a team.
11:52am: Lots of handshakes around. Rest of India's players are happy in celebrations. Jaiswal takes a stump as a souvenir. Today though, it was the story of the bowlers. Saini ran in through the first hour, got swing and seam to bring the ball in. He troubled batters despite not getting bounce. Mantri was unlucky to have been adjudged caught behind despite missing the ball. The early wicket led to Mukesh knocking over Dubey, who started positively. Sheth came in later to chip in with a couple of wickets, he ended Solanki's resistance and nicked off Saransh. Gawli looked good during his 48 but was trapped lbw by the ball keeping low. Narang got his wicket and, along with Saurabh, cleaned up the tail to help Rest of India register a 238-run win in a session where eight wickets fell for 117 runs.

Around. Slip and short leg in
Spooned back to the bowler. Was a full ball tossed up outside off, Agarwal tried to work it across towards long-on. But he didn't exert enough force to turn it across. Just went at an easy pace to the right of the bowler
Full outside off, pushed to cover
Length ball goes down leg, batter shuffles to off and clips it to the right of deep-backward square. Fielder stops it with the foot

Down the pitch, clips it from outside off to long-on
Tossed up outside off, the full ball is pushed to cover's left
Length just outside off, blocked towards cover
Down the pitch, swipes across the line and misses the ball. Keeper completes the stumping. Kushwah went down early and Saurabh kept it slow but shortened the length. It was outside off and the batter tried to slash over cover but missed it. Looked to have gone lower than he expected

Keeps low, hits pad and is given lbw. Narang was celebrappealing after bowling an off-spinning ball that landed on a length well outside off and spun in sharply. Gawli was on the back foot and tried blocking it with a slightly close-faced bat but got hit just under the knee roll of the back leg in front of off and it was curtains.
Lands on a short length but doesn't rise. Flicked to short fine
