what a way to finish the game! Campher gets his front leg out of the way to a slot delivery. Hammers the ball down the ground, everyone turns their heads to watch the ball go over the boundary at long-off. Campher gets his fifty and Reds win
Warriors vs Reds, 17th Match at Bready, INTER-PRO T20, Sep 04 2024 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Reds won by 6 wickets (with 7 balls remaining)
At the half way mark it seemed that the Warriors total was under par, and the Reds proved that in the end. They could have rocked after losing Modgill and Moor in consecutive balls, but then Curtis Campher came to the middle.
Campher judged the chase well, making sure that required run rate never got too excessive. When the boundary was needed, he hit it and has just been named the player of the match.
With the Reds hitting their target with 7 balls to spare, they pick up four points for the win and join the Warriors on 11 points for the season. Although the Warriors stay in third place by 0.08 on run rate.
