0.5 to AD Mathews, gone this time! Full delivery on middle and off stump that shapes away very late and seems to stick in the surface too. Matthews is caught on the crease and has a waft at it. The ball pings off the leading edge and lobs towards mid off, where Raza does the rest!. 9/1 0.6 to ND Paranavithana, two in two for Kumara! Full and angled into the batter on leg stump. Paranavithana, much like his captain, is caught on the crease. He has a hurried stab at it but by then, the ball has breezed past his bat and smashed into his back pad. The umpire gives it out and the batter decides to not review. Surely that was worth a punt? Might have pitched outside leg. 9/2 2.6 to KIC Asalanka, Kumara has three! This is pretty ordinary cricket from the Stars! Length delivery just outside off stump that does not come onto the batter as quickly as he is expecting. He tries to force it over the off side ring but is in no shape whatsoever. In the end, he clinks it tamely towards mid off. Colombo Stars in a spot of bother now!. 26/3 18.4 to DC Drakes, short and sharp outside off stump. Drakes has a swish at it but is late on the stroke as the ball whistles past the bat. But hang on, it seems that Shanaka has reviewed this one! The ball is close to the bat and Ultra Edge shows there is a small spike as the ball passes the under edge of the bat. He might not have picked the change of pace, though, and is early into his stroke. The ball pops up off the toe end towards mid on, where Drakes backpedals, settles himself and completes a superb overhead grab! Huge wicket in the context of the game!. 53/1 13.4 to TB Abell, the short ball does the trick! Dug into the track at the batter again, and this one climbs up onto the batter a lot more than he is expecting. 7.6 to S Daniel, holes out to deep mid wicket! Banged into the track just outside off stump. Daniel looks for the pull and gets decent contact too. The only problem, though, is that he hits it straight to deep mid wicket, where Janat accepts the offering gleefully!. 65/2 16.4 to PC de Silva, cleans him up! Slower delivery on a full length on leg stump. Chaturanga backs away and looks to carve it over extra cover. However, he has not picked the variation and he swings way too early.
