India Red win by five wickets!! It was a must-win game for them, and India Green need to win their next match against India Blue tomorrow to survive in the competition.

One thought at the end of the India Green innings that they had enough on the board, but India Red played a more patient game this time, seeing off the early overs where the bowlers had quite a bit of purchase off the wicket. The pitch eased out considerably as the innings progressed, and unlike their performance yesterday where M Vijay kept losing partners at the other end, the India Red batsmen built three crucial partnerships of over 50 runs that helped see them through.

Sharma featured in all three of those partnerships, but the one that took the game away from India Green was his stand of 86 in under ten overs with Abhishek Nayar, who played a wonderful cameo of 34.

India Green will look to improve upon their fielding as there were quite a few overthrows, and some important chances missed that, in the end, contributed to their loss.

Join us tomorrow for a must-win game for India Green, who take on India Blue in Cuttack. Until then, from Siddhartha Talya on the commentary, and Sanjay Murari on the scoring duties, goodbye and goodnight!!
