0.4 to BG Compton, open face, and guided straight to backward point! Trying to put bat through ball, but ended up reaching for the width, and that's a perfect start for Lancashire!. 0/1 46.4 to AJ Blake, Super relay catch on the boundary's edge. Jones at deep midwicket grabs above his head ana lobs to Jennings, running from long-on, while toppling over the rope. Excellent work to revive Lancashire's standards. 284/5

36.5 to JDM Evison, Bowled him! The dream dies for Evison but what a knock. Just prodding a touch too tentatively, as Lamb took the pace off. Quite the ovation though. 212/3

16.3 to OG Robinson, Outstanding take low to the keeper's left, back of a length, nipping back through the gate. Off the inside edge, and Lavelle does brilliantly to cling on. 79/2 40.6 to JL Denly, Bowled him! A swing and a miss from Denly, aiming to leg but Hurt rolls his fingers on the cutter. A brilliant knock. And now look who's coming in…. 245/4

4.4 to LWP Wells, through the shot too soon, and chipped back at the bowler! Very full, Stewart juggles but keeps his hands soft, and the chance sticks! Vital breakthrough after a rowdy start. 40/1 43.3 to DJ Lamb, another brilliant catch in the deep! Gilchrist at backward square, leaping high to his right, stretching backwards, using his lanky frame to good effect. It was well timed and might have gone for six but for those big hands. Another momentum swing.... 248/7 43.6 to RP Jones, thumps the pad and up goes the finger! He's reviewed, but there's no getting away with that one. Nips back from a tight off-stump line, beats the inside-edge, thumps the pad flap. Smashing middle, as plumb as they get!. 249/8

38.4 to SJ Croft, stunning take at midwicket! Is that the game? Croft felt it was time to unleash, cleared his front leg for a launch to cow corner, but Blake reached back and snaffled the chance! Kent are right back in the mix now!. 212/5 40.2 to GID Lavelle, heaved high into the sky, and brilliantly grabbed! Evison is the man once more, he's been everywhere today, three men converged but he called decisively at deep midwicket, and slid in to gather. Lavelle's bottom-handed approach can't pay off, and Kent are beginning to believe. 220/6 46.2 to TE Bailey, yorker! That was pinpoint, dipping from a good line, right at the base of middle stump, Bailey jams his bat down to no avail. This time, Kent really are one wicket away!. 267/9

21.3 to KK Jennings, chipped in the air, and that's a massive moment! The ball just popped on the batter as he leaned into his drive, and he was aghast from the moment it left his blade. A simple take at short cover, and now Kent will feel they've got the measure of this game!. 126/3
| 6.4 | 0 | 34 | 2 | 5.10 | 18 | 1 | 0 | |||
28.4 to DJ Vilas, under-edged onto the stumps! Evison earns reward for his relentless line and length, Vilas tries to make something from nothing on a probing off-stump line, swings through a pull, and feathers a thin toe-end onto his own timbers. 153/4 48.4 to LJ Hurt, all over! Evison seals the contest with a pinpoint yorker! Hurt swings at thin air, back goes his middle stump, and Kent have won their first List A silverware since 1978!. 285/10
