2 | 0 | 23 | 1 | 11.50 | 5 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
0.5 to Shamsur Rahman, Shamsur Rahman, after having survived on the previous ball, perishes this time, slapping a catch to midwicket, straight to the man there, takes a chest-high catch, the move to open with Dilshan pays off, Malinga will be a relieved man. 3/1
4 | 0 | 32 | 2 | 8.00 | 11 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
1.2 to Tamim Iqbal, and another one down, both Bangladesh openers have fallen within eight balls of the start, Tamim skips down the track and moved away from leg stumps, Kula bowls it well outside off, Tamim has to reach across to get to that one, he still tries to force the ball and can't get enough on it, holing out to deep point. 3/2 14.5 to Farhad Reza, now he has reason to smile, Reza gifts away his wicket, chipping a catch to short cover, and Bangladesh have lost their seventh, nothing dangerous about the delivery, but it results in a wicket. 80/7
4 | 0 | 11 | 2 | 2.75 | 15 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
3.2 to Shakib Al Hasan, a classic catch from Kulasekara at long-on, huge wicket as Shakib is gone, Bangladesh have been scoring almost exclusively in boundaries in this frenetic T20 so far, Shakib can't connect well enough though and Kulasekara takes a screamer of a catch, he sprints back from mid-on, keeps his eyes on the ball, and stretches out to pluck a sensational catch while facing the boundary, tumbles over with the momentum, awesome effort that. 35/3 5.3 to Anamul Haque, wow! I thought Kula's would be the catch of the series, but it isn't even the catch of the past 15 minutes, here's Kusal Perera with an astonishing, diving take at the boundary, Anamul's all-action innings has come to an end, he struck this powerfully towards deep midwicket, Perera wasn't at the boundary, he took a few paces to his right and had to fling himself to take an overhead catch. 41/4
3.5 | 0 | 20 | 3 | 5.21 | 13 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
17.3 to Mashrafe Mortaza, the perfect yorker from Malinga, it didn't need as good a ball as that to dismiss Mashrafe given the way he was batting, this time he has moved away miles from the leg stump, he struggles to t reach this yorker which clatters into the base of middle stump. 101/8 19.3 to Arafat Sunny, slower one from Malinga, far too good for Sunny, who can only lob a catch to Chandimal at mid-on, easy catch there, the fourth for Chandimal. 120/9 19.5 to Sabbir Rahman, length ball outside off, and another smart catch ends this innings, this was sliced towards deep point, Kulasekara takes a low catch after moving in from the rope, Sri Lanka have been superb in the field today, Bangladsh are all out for 120. 120/10
2 | 0 | 9 | 0 | 4.50 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
4 | 0 | 21 | 1 | 5.25 | 14 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
7.3 to Nasir Hossain, and another one! Nasir holes out to extra cover now, no need for any fielding heroics to get the wicket, this was a simple catch, straight at the man, Chandimal didn't have to move, Nasir Hossain will have to move to the pavilion. 47/5 |

4.1 to TM Dilshan, and Bangladesh have another one, Dilshan is bowled by Sunny, Dilshan backed away from the stumps just a little, he was looking to cut though the ball was on the stumps, he had to get bat on it, the ball stays a touch low so he can't, and that crashes into the stumps. 25/2
4 | 0 | 29 | 2 | 7.25 | 9 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
9.1 to AK Perera, and another one, what was Perera trying there? short of length ball that he wanted to slog away, he misses and that takes the off bail, which team's batsmen have been worse at shot selection today?. 42/4 9.6 to AD Mathews, Sri Lanka are five down, Mathews is gone as he looks to guide the ball down towards third man, a thin edge through to the keeper, Mashrafe is ecstatic, he screams in joy as he sets off on a celebratory sprint. 46/5
4 | 0 | 34 | 1 | 8.50 | 8 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
16.4 to KC Sangakkara, game-changer this, Sangakkara has perished! he just guides this outside off delivery towards short third man, good low catch there, the crowd loves it, Bangladesh favourites now?. 96/7
2 | 0 | 8 | 1 | 4.00 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
3.4 to MDKJ Perera, looks for the reverse-sweep, he misses and is struck on the pads, huge appeal for lbw, the umpire raises the finger, was that going on to hit leg stump? the replays show it was going to hit leg, Perera's cameo is over, Shakib strikes in his first over. 23/1
4 | 0 | 16 | 1 | 4.00 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
6.6 to LD Chandimal, another reverse-sweep attempted, another lbw, Bangladesh are roaring back in this game, this was certainly going on to hit the stumps, the middle stump most likely, Sri Lanka are three down, the crowd is at its most vocal, an interesting hour ahead. 32/3
