5.12pm: Rockets have fired again in the chase to make it three from three, taking them level top of the standings. I think we know who's going to be the Match Hero... Malan walks off to well-deserved applause for his unbeaten 98 from 44, having hit 88 not out from 49 in Rockets' last match. They have got themselves a formula, but Originals remains bereft, losing their third game in a row - and that despite putting up the second-highest total in the men's Hundred. They struggled with the ball, though, with Rockets easily surpassing the Phoenix chase of 173 against Invincibles in last year's competition. Anyway, no time to dwell, because Welsh Fire and Birmingham Phoenix are about to go toe-to-toe in the evening game from Cardiff. Go get some!

Dawid Malan collects the match award: "It was a lovely wicket to bat on. I actually thought they had a few too many but the way me and Hales started off was brilliant. We know if we get off to a good start, you've got more chance of chasing down. Halesy and me got off to a good start, so the pressure is on them to take wickets. Our bowlers bowled well, we let them down with catches - myself included. But even though they got a few more, we hung in really well. This year, we know it's fewer balls, so you're willing to take more risks to get yourself above the rate. Brilliant, we've got Birmingham and then a couple of home games, so hopefully we can win them and put pressure on the other teams."

Michael isn't happy, meanwhile: "I'm going to be brutally honest here because it's true. Jos' 'leadership' reeks of the inept conservatism of Root's test tenure. Just because someone's OK in the format doesn't mean they should captain. Look at Turner at PS men and the success he's had."
