Alana King, POTM speaks with a beaming smile on her face: Nice to have bit of turn and grip in the wicket, very happy, Graham and Brunt set the tone upfront. Felt really nice out of my hand, it was leg-spinner's dream so I'll take that (on first wicket) We saw the wicket did a lot in the first innings, ball was gripping...we just had to keep our process simple and stick to (plan). I love bowling in challenging conditions as well and for a pitch to have a little bit of turn, I really loved bowling there, happy to play my part

The rejigged Trent Rockets have registered a statement win and achieved the winning start they were after. Alana King produced a leg-spin masterclass and her first-ball wicket will remain etched in the minds of everyone who saw this contest. Northern Superchargers seemed ruffled right from the powerplay and lacked composure as a unit, playing many reckless shots even though the required rate wasn't very taxing. Thank you for following our coverage. The Men's Hundred game is going to get underway shortly. For now, this is Rvel Zahid, signing off.

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Higham, OUT

Zips in and rattles her stumps! Flummoxes her with a well-disguised slower back of a length nip-backer, she skips down, trying to smoke her out of the park and ends up missing it altogether. Stellar bowling display from Trent Rockets who were challenged a bit but never looked in trouble. Superchargers kept losing wickets at regular intervals and nobody converted their starts to something substantial or threatened to take the game away. No show from middle-order in particular. Nat Sciver-Brunt kept a lid by just conceding 19 in 17 balls and picked two wickets. King changed the complexion, pegging them back in the first over and picked two wickets in her 20 balls while Heather Graham got three wickets. Largely been toothless batting and a chaotic attempt to chase it down, falling short by 20 runs in the end.

Graham to Smith, OUT

Wrecked the stumps! Round the wicket, hits the hard length and doesn't offer much pace to clobber a pull, she wanders down leg and the ball sneaks through the gate to rattle the stumps. Just one wicket left in the tank.
