The Vics win and are through to the final and they qualify for the Twenty20 Champions League later this year.
112 never looked enough on this pitch, but after the Vics failed to chase down 128 on Saturday night, and they slumped to 3/6 tonight, there would've been some nerves in the Victorian dressing room.
But a matchwinning partnership between Hodge and Crossthwaite turned the game and the Vics cruised home with two overs to spare.
Perhaps some negative captaincy from Simpson taking Harris out of the attack early after taking two wickets, but realistically Hodge was the key to defeating the Vics and the Bulls coudn't get rid of him even after he injured his hamstring
Hodge has been named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 59 off 54 balls. It will be interesting to see whether he pulls up in time for Saturday night's final. Either way should be an exciting game if last Saturday's clash is anything to go by.
Thanks for joining me, Andrew Fuss for tonight's coverage, please do join us again on Saturday night for our coverage of the final, which will get underway at 7pm AEDT. Good night.
