Full commentary

We're done for the day. I hope the match was entertaining for all of you. Signing off on behalf of Binoy George and the other crew members is myself, Rashad Mahbub.

Litton Das: "If you see we have played well in test cricket and ODI also. Unfortunately, we did not win the matches but we played good cricket. So we had that confidence of playing all the series very well. I always tell the boys don't take pressure Just come and enjoy the game. Because we know that we have a very good bowling attack and batting. We know that if we score well we can defend any kind of total. I mean he (Phil Simmons) never gave any pressure. We just feel free to play cricket. I explained our decision and everything. Not only him, all the coaching staff and management people they id really well. They are very helpful to us and they always give us things. (Bowling attack) Definitely (Challenging the best batting lineup). We are improving day by day. If you saw the first game and the second game, this wicket was pretty good to bat on. I mean the way our bowler shows the character is amazing because they (West Indies) have a better batting order at the moment. And they have a power hitter and we defended 180 and defeated them by 109 runs. It is a big achievement for the bowling team. (2025 goals) At the moment we have played really well in the series. Whenever we have to play again, we need to come back stronger and play good cricket."

Rovman Powell: "I think in the middle overs we bowled really well. We didn't control the power plays as we wanted, and we didn't execute in the back end. (Batting) Losing wickets in clusters. If we keep losing wickets in the first and second over of the power play, we always gonna find ourselves behind the game. It had happened to us in the last eight or so T20I games and I said something that we have some time to rectify now. (2025) It's us taking some time off as a team of T20I group. We don't come together again until mid-2025. So guys have an opportunity to actually look at their game, review their game, and see the mistakes that we have made as a batting group during 2024, and hopefully 2025 those little mistakes will be corrected. They (Bangladesh) have been fantastic. You know to come to the Caribbean after a disappointing 50-over series and to come against a good T20I team. All the credit goes to them and I wish them safe travels as well. (Captaincy) My first full year as the captain. I started out really well moving the team from nine position to fourth in the world. Yeah, but it's disappointing to see the last few series falling off here just a bit. And you know when a team is falling away you can sense it. It's something for us to rectify in 2025. But you know, I wouldn't say that, you know, thanks to the boys for the effort they have given us throughout 2024 and to all the fans around the Caribbeans, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year."

Player of the Series Mahedi Hasan: "(Not getting a chance in the World Cup) In World Cup time we had lots of options and team combinations. That's why I did not play. But we came to West Indies again, I had good confidence in Global T20 and there's the experience for this series. Yeah, I enjoyed bowling in this type of wicket, because in World Cup time I saw this type of wicket turning, sketchy and low. We were planning before the series and wicket-to-wicket bowling. Accuracy is the main important thing in this type of wicket. (Dismissing Pooran thrice) I know Pooran because me and Pooran played in the BPL and many other leagues. I know Pooran has difficulty against right-arm off-spinners. So that was the plan of execution and we have success against Pooran. Yeah everybody did well. We had a very good T20I and Test series but we could not play well in the ODIs. But the boys are really hungry in the T20I series. You have seen the body language of my teammates in this series. Hopefully, we will have a good Champions Trophy."

Player of the Match Jaker Ali: "Actually, Alhamdulillah for everything (Praise to The Almighty). It's been quite a wonderful series for me., throughout the test series, ODI and the T20I. I just thinking about today the wicket was very good if you compare it with the last two games. I just trying to take time and give time(at the crease). I know myself, if I go deep in the game then I will score some runs. (Run out incident) I think that's a horrible mix-up. In the dressing room, I was just kicking myself, my bat, and everything around me. And suddenly the third umpire (fourth umpire) called me. And another runout happened because of me. I was just kicking myself and I was broke at that moment. But Alhamdulillah (Praise to The Almighty) allowed me to play for my team. I have scored their runs too (Shamim and Mahedi). Actually, it's all about the mindset. You know the Caribbean big boys will come at you hard in any format. of the game. And especially in the Windies situation. I have played in the World Cup here. I didn't play well so when I went back home I took preparation for this tour particularly. And yes things are going good for me now."

Charles Rocky : "To be Frank ...even if another 3 matches of same format were in line...the tigers would have snatched them also. "

Vishal S.: "As the tour concludes , its safe to say that Jaker Ali was the best performer for BD across formats "

Chuvi : "A full strength WI have been comprehensively outplayed in their own backyard by a surging , young Bangladesh team! "

The Bangladeshi squad put on another outstanding performance with the ball in hand to claim the BanglaWash. With six wickets lost, the West Indies were left stranded on 60 runs, demonstrating their ongoing batting problems. After that, Shepherd and Motie attempted to repair the damage with a few powerful blows. Shepherd got 33 runs off of 27 runs, but his teammates did not help him in the end. With three wickets, Rishad Hossain appeared to be the innings' top bowler. Taskin and Mahedi each took two wickets. For the first time, Bangladesh has won a bilateral series against the West Indies 3-0. We will resume the presenting ceremony after a little break.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib to Seales, FOUR runs

AJ: "@Galib Miraz is a pitch dependent and doesn't have enough variations in his bowling for it to be sustainable in T20's, but his accuracy and consistency suits him in the longer formats. Rishad being a tall leggie can be a surprise package if he constantly works on it, especially in a format where leg spin is dominant." Um. I am quite sure Galib was refering to Mahedi, not Mehidy.

The supporters of the West Indies have begun to depart from the stadium.
