That's one way of polishing off a small chase when the stakes are high. Lanning and Shafali came out all guns blazing, and then Capsey carried on from where she left off in the previous game. Mumbai, who started the season with five wins on the bounce, have now lost two in a row and are in some danger of missing the top spot after dominating much of the league phase. The Capitals are peaking at the right time and are looking as dangerous as a side can get. It's all to play for on the final day of league fixtures at the inaugural WPL. We're unlikely to know who top the pool until the final game. Isn't that all we expect?

Meg Lanning: "Great game, hard to fault much. Set it up really nicely with the ball, Capsey was superb, Aru Reddy was excellent, she's been building up all tournament. She's very talented, always willing to learn and go out there and play well. Even when she wasn't playing or bowling, she was really engaged. To see her play well is really nice. Just great we could have a win tonight, looking forward to continuing that tomorrow. Tonight we put together a great performance with bat and ball, when you get to the business end of the tournament, you need to put together both and we did that."

Marizanne Kapp is the Player of the Match for 2-13 off four overs "Bowling group as a whole deserves this award. On this wicket, every time we have the toss, I hold my breath because I want to bowl first. It does a bit."

Harmanpreet Kaur: "We were 45 runs short but with the amount of bowling we have, we were looking for early breakthroughs. Dew was there, and we didn't bowl to our plans, they batted really well. We definitely have to bat well to win, we need to sit and discuss what we've not done well in the last couple of games. We've got good players, I'm happy this has happened to us, at least we won't be overconfident."

Alice Capsey: "Delighted with the win, delighted to get home early. When we were fielding, bowled good lines and length to restrict them on a good wicket. When I went out there, the ball wasn't doing well. Was just about hitting through the line and hitting straight. We want to play the same brand of cricket whether we're chasing 110 or 200. Shafali sets the tone for people like me coming after. We both hit to different parts of the ground. Having chats with her is great. No one better than hear to learn from when it comes to striking the ball."

punched to cover, a misfield by Amanjot allows them to come back for the second. The Capitals have waltzed home in style, they've bossed this chase from start to finish. The quick finish has helped them overhaul Mumbai's NRR

this is even straighter. Capsey moves leg side of the ball and then belts this straight down the ground. Just wow, this is absolutely incredible.

Matthews to Capsey, SIX runs

Yastika went 'caaaaaaatch' as Capsey lofted this over the infield, but it was a question of who? Long-on fielder or the ball girls behind the ropes. Massive hit, monstrous hit.

Matthews to Capsey, no run

tossed up and drifting away from around the stumps, Capsey gave away her intention of reverse sweeping that way too early, beaten.

why should Lanning have all the fun, says Capsey as she steps out, gets to the pitch and blasts this over long-off. Too easy.

Looks like the Capitals want to win it in a hurry. They're going for their net run rate boost.

Wong to Lanning, SIX runs

what a shot! Bottom hand, muscle, wrist - all in one. Wong goes for a slower offcutter, Lanning decides she's going across the line and connects as it sails over the ropes. Such a difficult shot to play not least because she had to force all the pace on that delivery.

5.5
Wong to Lanning, no run

flicked off her pads but straight to Matthews at midwicket
