11:10pm And...breathe. What an encounter. A result that has kept the Warriorz alive, and has ensured that no team has yet qualified for the playoffs. Five teams, thus, are still in contention for three spots, and tomorrow, the Mumbai Indians will have a chance to get to the 10-point mark when they clash with the Gujarat Giants, who showed signs of life themselves in their previous encounter. Do join us for that game too. Until then, this is goodbye from all of us here at ESPNcricinfo. Goodnight and take care!

Alyssa Healy, UP Warriorz captain: (On the game) This is cricket. Anything can happen. Funnily enough, something like this happened in a practice game before the tournament. (On the score they put up) We probably did not get the partnerships we were after. We felt anything around 150 would be competitive. Deepti did a fantastic job but we needed more partnerships on the way to get above 150. (On the wicket that tilted the game firmly their way) Probably the last one (smiles). It is never over (before that). Did not necessarily think we would win. I cannot fault the girls' effort (in any game). They have a smile on their face and they turn up every time.

Deepti Sharma, Player of the Match: I backed my strengths and my shots, and was believing in my ability. Was trying to read the situation and pick what shots would work when. (On her bowling) We were trying to bowl as many dots as possible to the set batter. I like challenges, I was just backing myself and bowling stump-to-stump. (On taking a hat-trick) Oh, I did not know. (On the 19th over and the caught and bowled dismissal) Shikha di tries to play forward and I was ready for the caught and bowled (dismissal). We knew that we could change the game at any situation, and we were just confident in that. I want to continue the way I have been playing. There is no limit to learning and the more I learn, the better it will be for me.

Meg Lanning, the Delhi Capitals captain is also the Orange Cap holder. Here is what she has to say: (What she is feeling) Disappointed to not get the win. Felt we put ourselves in a pretty good position. Credit to the Warriorz for sneaking out that win. (What was the game-changer) My wicket probably played a part. I feel like I was the set batter and needed to take it a bit deeper, it put pressure on the other batters coming in. We could not get going at the back end. Couple of unfortunate dismissals. We did not play the conditions as well as we should have. (On the positives) We still got a lot right. Our bowling innings was excellent. Our powerplay batting was good too. It just shows that as long as you don't put 40 overs together, you don't get through.

Grace Harris: (On bowling the last over) I cannot use some of the words I used out in the middle. I knew what I wanted to bowl and happy that I executed in that way. I was not really nervous or anything, which shocks me. There was not a lot of expectation (from myself) in bowling that last over. Very happy for the win. (On the first-ball six) I kind of did thing that that may have changed the game and the momentum. Knew I had to be pretty perfect from there on. Was near perfect after that. But I did bowl the full toss, lucky I got away with that. The run-out (of Jonassen) was also crucial, flicked the momentum back in our favour. Saima, the way she started, when she got up and about against Shafali Verma, I thought she bowled extremely well. She kept the stumps in play, bowled a hard length and showed her competitive side. The girls were jumping on the back of that energy. We had a pretty good fielding effort, pretty happy with it.

10:45pm Phew, adjectives and superlatives will never be able to do justice to what we just witnessed. The game swung one way, then the other, then back in the original direction before eventually tilting towards the Warriorz. They had only 28 to defend in the last four overs, and had to take seven wickets. And they managed it with a ball to spare, while only allowing the Capitals to score 26.

Deepti was the star towards the end. Her penultimate over brought about three wickets, and that put the Capitals firmly on the back foot. Harris then went for a six on the first ball of the final over but recovered superbly to hold her nerve. Not great batting at different junctures by the Capitals, it must be said, but the Warriorz deserve credit for pushing them into a spot where the Capitals were pressurized into those strokes.

Prior to that, Lanning kept the Capitals ticking along nicely, registering her third consecutive fifty. Capsey, though, found it really tough. Rodrigues and Sutherland could not get going either, and that piled on the pressure towards the end, which was discernibly visible in their decision-making.

Harris to Sadhu, OUT

Straight to mid on! And the Capitals have crumbled to a one-run defeat! Oh my goodness! The Warriorz are alive, by the skin of their teeth! Tossed up full just outside off. Sadhu tries to smoke it over mid on to seal the deal but all she does is pick out mid on. A single would have tied the game. But she went for the big stroke, and the gamble did not pay off! Confusion and chaos for the Capitals at the end; delight and absolute delirium for the Warriorz!

Titas Sadhu c sub (DN Wyatt) b Harris 0 (1b 0x4 0x6 1m) SR: 0

Sadhu is the last batter in. Two still needed. Almost everyone up in the circle

Harris to Bhatia, OUT

Jonassen has been run out! This is catastrophe for the Capitals! Short outside off. Taniya has a whoosh at it and squirts it off the inside edge towards short fine leg. Jonassen is hell-bent on the single but it is very tight. Puts in the dive but still a yard short as Healy whips off the bails. The Capitals are crumbling!

Jess Jonassen run out (Gayakwad/†Healy) 11 (5b 1x4 1x6 17m) SR: 220

Taniya in at 10. She has opened in the past. The first time she is batting this season, though

Harris to Yadav, OUT

chops it on! Oh my days, you cannot make this up! A bit of a drag-down on off stump. Spins back into Radha, who is trying to smack this into oblivion. Swings way too early and the ball pings off the toe-end into off stump. Radha is devastated, but she has to trudge back!

Radha Yadav b Harris 9 (4b 0x4 1x6 6m) SR: 225

Just two needed now. Four balls to get there

high full toss on the stumps. Radha does well to react and heave it towards deep mid wicket. Races back for two. No ball not called, and Radha has reviewed, arguing that it was above the waist. Looked awfully close on first glance. It is above the waist on contact but Radha is down the track. The third umpire looks at Ball Tracking and reckons it is not a No ball, saying it would have passed below the waist!

palms it over the bar, oh my word! Dragged down outside off. Radha gives it all she has and whacks it towards deep mid wicket. Khemnar, stood a few yards inside the fence, can only palm it onto the cushion! Had she stayed on the fence, it would have been a simple catch. Margins, margins...

Phew. So much has happened in this game already, and there is still an over left. Radha on strike. Harris to bowl. This is her first over tonight. 10 needed for the win. Nine to go into a Super Over

three in the over for Deepti! This continues to ebb and flow! Floated up on a length on off. Pandey advances and tries to chip it over Deepti. All she does is hit it in her general vicinity and she holds on, despite almost clashing into the non-striker!

oh, hello! Tossed up on a length on middle and off. Pandey dances down the track and creams it over the bowler's head. Ecclestone cannot cut it off running from long off, and those are four vital runs!

Pandey strides out. DC need 15 off 10. It is all happening here

Sharma to Arundhati, OUT

gone first ball! And Deepti has a hat-trick! Slowed up a shade on a length outside off. Reddy tries to finish off the contest with one blow and comes down the track. Swings hard at it but gets too much under it. Lobs towards Harris at deep mid wicket, and she was never going to drop that!

Sharma to Sutherland, OUT

Deepti dazzles in Delhi again! Fired in quick on middle and off. Sutherland plays the trajectory rather than the length and goes back. Swipes across the line and only connects with fresh air. Hears the death rattle soon after, and the Capitals lose their fifth!

Annabel Sutherland b Sharma 6 (9b 1x4 0x6 17m) SR: 66.66
