The Harbhajan crossover
With all the attention on Saturday's IPL opener being on Chennai Super Kings returning after a two-year suspension, they will have the services of the experienced Harbhajan Singh who will turn out for a side other than Mumbai Indians for the first time in the IPL. Harbhajan was bought by Super Kings for INR 2 crore this year and will have more experience than anyone in that side when playing at Wankhede Stadium.
"It'll be a game filled with emotions for me given that this was my home ground for the first 10 seasons," Harbhajan was quoted as saying by the Super Kings website. "It wasn't one season but 10 years and obviously I know the kind of cricket that they (Mumbai) play, but then it's no secret because with every team playing each other over the years, each knows how they approach their game, the brand of cricket that they play. Obviosuly having been a part of the think-tank, I guess I know more than most about how MI play."
