ACB announces Darwin ticket details for Bangladesh series

Tickets for the Darwin leg of the Test and one-day international series against Bangladesh in July/August go on sale on Monday 24 March, the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) announced today.

Tickets for the Darwin leg of the Test and one-day international series against Bangladesh in July/August go on sale on Monday 24 March, the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) announced today.
The ticketing structure sees a range of ticket prices and offers available for cricket fans to be a part of the historic series.
For the first time, fans will have the option to purchase a Test match pass - providing entry to all days of the Test - or an international match pass, which permits entry to each day of the Test plus the third VB Series match of the tour on 6 August.
Individual day passes for the Test match and the one-day international are also available.
The purchase of a Test match pass represents a saving of up to 58 per cent on that of buying a daily ticket over the five-day match.
ACB Chief Executive Officer James Sutherland said the special ticket offers were introduced to coincide with the launch of international cricket in northern Australia.
"This is the first time international cricket will be staged in Darwin and the excitement of the event is rapidly building," Mr Sutherland said.
"There has been a strong level of interest from cricket fans around the country wanting to attend the games at Mararra Oval in July and August.
"We have introduced a ticket structure that encourages fans to be a part of the whole series and see the game in both Test and one-day international format.
"We have also catered for various other categories to ensure that as many people in Darwin - children, adults, families and groups - have the chance to see international cricket for the first time in the top end," he said.
Ticket prices for the Test match pass begin at $30.00 for children, while the international pass starts at $41.00.
Cricket fans wishing to take up the special ticket offer for the Test and international passes must present a coupon from the Northern Territory News when purchasing tickets.
More details on the offers are available in the Northern Territory News on Tuesday 25 March. The special offer is valid until Friday 18 April.
Full ticket pricing details and arrangements for the Cairns matches will be announced in Cairns on Friday 21 March by Queensland Cricket Chief Executive Officer Graham Dixon. Tickets for the Cairns matches will go on sale on Saturday 22 March.
