Nathan Bracken has signed for Worcestershire for next season. Bracken, the opening bowler, will join his New South Wales team-mate Phil Jaques at New Road after signing the one-year deal.
"Nathan has just broken through to the Australian one day squad as a result of a terrific season for New South Wales," said Worcestershire's head coach Steven Rhodes, "where he topped the national averages with 43 wickets at 18.79. He is a left-arm opening bowler with a career economy rate in first class cricket of 2.55 per over. That in itself reveals how much control he has and this will compliment our attack next season."
