Club payments for 2008/2009 domestic season

Sri Lanka Cricket is pleased to inform the public that the payments for Clubs, Players and Coaches were finalized last week by the Interim Committee and all clubs have been notify of the same.

An increase of over 12% as player fees and club fees along with a system to offer financial benefits for qualified coaches with national and 1st class playing experience are some of the notable benefits for the up-coming season.

Tier A Club Players Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.23, 534,000.00
Tier A Club Match Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.14, 455,180.00
Tier B Club Players Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.19, 788,000.00
Tier B Club Match Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.14, 455,193.00
Sara Club Players Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.7, 534,000.00
Sara Club Match Fee for 2008/09 is - Rs.9, 870,000.00

The total payments for clubs for the season 2008/09 is Rs.38, 780,373.00
The total payment as player fee for the season 2008/09 is Rs.50, 856,000.00
