Gary Palmer, the Austrian National Team coach was once again in Vienna for a visit ahead of the ECC Notts Sport® Trophy, which is taking place in the Vienna area - at Vienna CC's Seebarn Cricket Grounds, and at Concordia CC's newly-opened Markommannenstrasse ground in Vienna.
Gary, whose visits are made possible by the ICC's European Development Programme, has been Austria's coach since 2001, having coached Austria to the runner-up spot at the 2001 ECC Trophy (also held in Austria), and coaching the side at the ECC European Championships in Belfast. As well as his work with the Austrian team, Gary has also worked with a number of professional cricketers, including Anurag Singh and England batsman Owais Shah, as well as having done sessions with a number of international teams, including, most recently, the Indian A squad.
Gary uses exceptionally innovative coaching methods, including his Batting Master Class Software, based on the Quintic System, further information about which is available from his website (see link below).
