Hampshire's opening batsman Derek Kenway, underwent surgery in the Chalybeate Hospital in Southampton on Tuesday (14 March).
The operation performed by Club consultant Dr.Barratt was a repair and trimming of the knee cartilage.
Kenway is hopeful that he will be able to resume training in three weeks time, and should be available for selection by mid-April.
