Hong Kong to play visiting Premier League club from Australia
The Footscray Edgewater Cricket Club (FECC), a Premier League side from Victoria, Australia will be making a tour to Hong Kong in September 2010.

The Footscray Edgewater Cricket Club (FECC), a Premier League side from Victoria, Australia will be making a tour to Hong Kong in September 2010. During their tour, the FECC will play three one day matches (50 overs per side) against Hong Kong and two Twenty20 matches against the Hong Kong Asian Games team. There will also be one Twenty20 match against Kowloon Cricket Club.
FECC Tour Fixtures:
- 19-Sep-10: Hong Kong v. FECC (50 overs match), HKCC
- 20-Sep-10: Hong Kong v. FECC (50 overs match), KCC
- 21-Sep-10: HK Asian Games Team v. FECC (Twenty20), KCC (10AM start)
- 21-Sep-10: Kowloon Cricket Club v. FECC (Twenty20), KCC (2PM start)
- 22-Sep-10: Hong Kong v. FECC (50 overs), Kai Tak
- 24-Sep-10: HK Asian Games Team v. FECC (Twenty20), KCC (11AM start)
The selectors will name two squads to represent Hong Kong in the series. A Hong Kong squad will play in the 50-over matches while the Asian Games team will play the Twenty20 matches.
Hong Kong National Cricket Coach, Charlie Burke, who has been instrumental in organising the tour, said "This tour by FECC is vital in our aim to be well prepared for the ICC WCL Division 3 tournament and also provides opportunities for the Asian Games team in their preparations."
