ICC Cricket World Cup - practice and media conference arrangements for Saturday 7 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 7 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 7 April:
  • In Guyana, South Africa will take on Bangladesh at Guyana National Stadium, Providence, Georgetown. Play is scheduled to start at 0930 and afterwards there will be media conferences involving both captains and the man of the match.
  • Also in Guyana, New Zealand will practise at Bourda Oval from 0900 until around 1100. Afterwards, captain Stephen Fleming will hold a media conference. In a change from the original schedule Ireland will hold a net session at Guyana National Stadium from 1000 until around 1200. There are no plans to hold a media conference at this stage although specific media enquiries or requests will be welcomed by Ireland media manager Barry Chambers at +1876 823 0830.
  • In Antigua, Australia will train from 0900 until 1100 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, St John's. Afterwards, captain Ricky Ponting will hold a media conference. England will practice at the same venue from 1200. Beforehand, Paul Collingwood will hold a media conference.
  • In Grenada, the West Indies has opted not to train and has no plans to hold a media conference. Sri Lanka will train from 0900 until 1200 at Progress Park, St Andrew. There are no plans for a media conference at this stage but any media requests will be welcomed by Sri Lanka media manager Michael Tissera at +1876 823 1231.
