Gilchrist's 19-ball firework display and a more restrained effort from Gibbs (56 balls) kept their
side in charge despite some tight middle-overs bowling from spinners Muralitharan (4-0-17-1) and
Raina (4-0-18-2). Chennai's total was around 20 short of par on a good batting pitch, despite some
fierce striking from the tall and broad-shouldered pair of Hayden and Oram at either end of the
innings.
