Interim Committee appoints former players onto management committees

The Interim Committee has appointed a number of former Sri Lankan cricketers onto the 12 committees, who will oversee the management of the game after the dissolution of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) by the Sports Minister on the 28th March. The former cricketers include Arjuna Ranatunga, the former captain who retired recently, Ranjan Madugalle, the well-respected ICC Match Referee, Roy Dias, the former player and coach, Bandula Warnapura, the captain in Sri Lanka's inaugural Test match, and Ranjit Fernando, the former wicket keeper and respected commentator.
