Mongia to have second stint with Lancashire

Dinesh Mongia will be returning to Lancashire once again, this time as cover for Stuart Law, who is recovering from a back problem and will not play for around three weeks. Mongia filled in as a temporary replacement for Carl Hooper last month, when Hooper fractured his thumb batting against Yorkshire.

Mongia has been playing club cricket for Little Stoke and in May actually played against Lancashire, for Staffordshire, in the C & G Trophy, scoring 31 and picking up two wickets with his left-arm spin. Mongia scored 107 runs in the two games he played for Lancashire, including a half-century, and took three wickets.
