Alan Mullally and Shane Warne were both awarded their county caps by Club chairman Brian Ford before the start of Hampshire's National League match on May day.
A rib injury to Alan Mullally means he is excluded from the twelve chosen for Hampshire's opening PPP healthcare County Championship match against Somerset at the County Ground (May 3-6).
Although included in the twelve, Peter Hartley undergoes a fitness test, after a recurring hip injury kept him out of Hampshire's National League match against Warwickshire. Shane Warne makes his first-class debut for his adopted county.
Hampshire's twelve v Somerset is: Jason Laney, Giles White, Will Kendall, Robin Smith (capt), Derek Kenway (w/k), John Stephenson, Shaun Udal, Shane Warne, Alex Morris, Simon Renshaw, Peter Hartley and Dimitri Mascarenhas.
