South Africa and Eastern Province fast bowler Mfuneko Ngam has been given
the all clear by UCB and Eastern Province physios to begin a slow and
controlled return to bowling.
Shoulder surgery just over two weeks ago was successful to remove small
sutures causing some catching pain in his shoulder. He will start turning
his arm over off a few yards at first in the nets and slowly progress and
increase this on alternate days.
Ngam will be on a fourto six-week bowling rehabilitation programme and the
plan is to return him to competitive bowling for EP in their pre-season
friendlies programme.
