Pakistan local: Aamir Hanif slams unbeaten century

Karachi, Dec 20: An unbeaten century by former Pakistan batsman Aamir Hanif set up an easy victory for Malir Gymkhana in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Cricket Tournament here on Wednesday.

Aamir slammed an unbeaten 116 off 97 deliveries as Malir Gymkhana defeated Pak Gymkhana by 97 runs at the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground.

Aamir, who hit eight fours and three sixes, was given excellent support by Zeeshan Pervez. The pair added 128 for the second wicket to help Malir Gymkhana pile up 222 for five in the allotted 25 overs.

Zeeshan hammered 64 off 57 balls with 10 boundaries.

Pak Gymkhana, in reply, mustered 129 in 23.3 overs. Ata-ur-Rehman Junior top-scored with 44. He hit three fours.

Farhan Adil ad Mohammad Hasnain captured two wickets each.

Meanwhile, Tapal CC have decided to conceded their last league fixture, which was scheduled for Thursday, against Aga Khan Gymkhana because they are already out of the competition.
