Play between Border and Easterns washed out

Not a single ball was bowled on the second day of the four-day Supersport Series match between Border and Easterns at Buffalo Park on Saturday.

Rain eventually prompted the umpires to declare the day a washout, with Easterns still on their overnight score of 40 for four with only 20 overs bowled, chasing Border's 244 all out.

Play is scheduled to resume at 9.30am on Sunday.
