What They Said About

'Devastated, we have lost a legend'

The cricket world reacts to the news of Rod Marsh's death

Legendary Australia wicketkeeper-batter Rod Marsh died at the age of 74 on Friday, after having suffered a heart attack last week. Marsh, who held the Test record for most wicketkeeping dismissals at the time of his retirement in 1984, went on to become a coach and selector. Leading Australia players, many of whom were guided by him, were among those who paid tributes to him on social media.
Former legends from other countries, too, shared their messages.
