Australian 'A' captain Simon Katich makes his debut for Hampshire against Yorkshire at The Rose Bowl on Wednesday (30th April), in the counties first home match of the season. Wasim Akram will also be on show for the first time in front of Hampshire supporters.
Having drawn both their opening matches at Worcester and Glamorgan, Hampshire will be hoping to record a win against the team that has already trounced Northamptonshire in Division Two this season.
Hampshire choose from thirteen which includes Ed Giddins still recovering from bruised ribs.
Yorkshire have Michael Vaughan, England's man of the year in their line up for the first time this season and a rejuvenated Darren Gough fit again after two years of injury.
"It should be an interesting match to start the Rose Bowl season" said captain John Crawley.
Play on all four days starts at 11:00am.
