British rock band Oasis are on a reunion tour, so naturally it's the right time to ask cricketers what their favourite song from the group is. These were the picks from London Spirit Men's players:
Captain Kane Williamson picks "Don't Look Back In Anger" from the 1996 album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, although, along with several other of his team-mates, "Wonderwall" also features high on his list "after the amount of buskers I've heard play that."
For David Warner, "Wonderwall" is the only Oasis song he knows, while Ryan Higgins needs some help, asking team-mate Richard Gleeson: "What do Oasis sing?"
Gleeson himself picks "Married With Children" from Definitely Maybe, the band's debut album, released in 1994.
From comfort music to comfort food - Trent Rockets' players pick their favourites:
Burgers and chips for David Willey, spaghetti bolognese for Max Holden, lamb roast with mint sauce for Alexa Stonehouse, sweet and sour pork for Calvin Harrison, pizza for Natasha Wraith, jacket potato for Cassidy McCarthy, and her mum's homemade lasagna for Kirstie Gordon. We're on board with all these picks!
Meanwhile with the Ashes buzz heating up, Welsh Fire's Steven Smith has to answer some rapid-fire questions, and it's no surprise that when asked to choose the bigger rival for Australia: India or England, he chooses the latter. "They are both huge rivals, but an Ashes - nothing beats it."
His favourite international hundred is also an Ashes one - the memorable comeback knock at Edgbaston in 2019. Smith returned from his 16-month ban for ball-tampering and opened the series with a first-day 144. Australia won that Test by 251 runs.
But, perhaps surprisingly, his all-time best cricketer - Jacques Kallis - and best batter - Sachin Tendulkar - are not Ashes picks.
