Bangladesh v Zimbabwe, 2015-16

Wisden's review of the second ODI, Bangladesh v Zimbabwe, 2015-16

15-Apr-2016
Second one-day international At Mirpur, November 9, 2015 (day/night). Bangladesh won by 58 runs. Bangladesh 241-9 (50 overs) (Imrul Kayes 76, Sabbir Rahman 33, Nasir Hossain 41; T. Panyangara 3-41); ‡Zimbabwe 183 (43.2 overs) (E. Chigumbura 47, Sikandar Raza 33; Mustafizur Rahman 3-33). MoM: Imrul Kayes.
When Imrul Kayes's responsible innings ended with a catch to backward point, Bangladesh seemed vulnerable at 151-5 - but they were rescued by Sabbir and Nasir Hossain. Zimbabwe were also looking good at 151-4 in the 34th over, but Al-Amin Hossain removed Sikandar Raza and Chigumbura in quick succession after a stand of 73, and the tail once more failed to make much impression. The slippery left-armer Mustafizur Rahman again showed his class, with three wickets - and several nods of appreciation and shakes of the head from the batsmen who survived him.
