A writ petition filed by Dr. Javed Burki against Pakistan Cricket Board appealing against the election of District Cricket Association Gujranwala, has been dismissed by the Lahore High Court.
The plea of the petitioner that the elections were unfairly held was rejected by the honourable court, ruling that the constitutional petition is not competent against the elections. Syed Asghar Haider, Legal Advisor, appeared in the case on behalf of the respondents, PCB.
