Brendan Taylor, the Zimbabwe captain, will play in the Bangladesh Premier League after signing up with Chittagong Kings.

"We have just signed for Brendan to join the Chittagong Kings for the last three games and the finals in the BPL," Taylor's agent said. "The deal was negotiated directly by us with the owner and CEO, Sameer Quader Chowdhury, of the Chittagong Kings."

Chittagong are currently in third place, with eight points, two behind joint leaders, Khulna Royal Bengals and Duronto Rajshahi.

Taylor has played 54 Twenty20s, averaging 31 at a strike-rate of 122.04. He recently played in New Zealand's domestic Twenty20 league, and smashed a career-best 101 for Wellington.

first of all i would like to congratulate bpl for doing what ipl failed to do, that way recognise talent even if it was from zimbabwe or kenya, or anywhere,

bpl shuold also sign other players like chicigbura, etc, couple of players from holland are good hitters,

saj mehmood from lancashire would provide great pace and can hit the ball hard, some team should consider him,

@M_Rakibul_Islam... yeah, it will be challenging for tamim. in fact everyone is challenging for him. even i play better cricket than tamim. his problem is that he talks too much as if he scores a century every couple of matches...but in reality he can't score more than 3-4 runs....he should be dropped from all forms of cricket..

Welcome to BPL. Taylor's per4mance in BD is better than most other Zimbabweans. Kings should b benefited by his current form. But it'll b challenging 4 Tamim & Jamshed to compete with him 4 opening spots.
