He is more hurt than angry. But a chastened Nayan Mongia kept his cool upon arriving in India from Australia on Saturday. During a brief stop over at Mumbai airport on his way to Baroda he told reporters, ``I can't talk because I am bound by the Board contract according to which I am not supposed to say anything to the media for two months.''
Pressed on the issue, the 30-year-old wicketkeeper said ``I have no mmediate plans to retire. I shall keep trying hard to regain my place in the Indian team.'' Even though he is not likely to be immediately selected, Mongia maintained that ``I am prepared to go for the Carlton and United triangular one day series if chosen by the selectors.''
