Facts are facts! Sachin is the best Batsman of present era and equals Bradman and Viv Richards in my opinion in all time greats but it's also the fact that he averages 5 against Shoib Akhtar in tests and 20's in ODI and being dismissed by him in every 4th or 3rd game; So live with it. @some one who has replied to me; Agreed! the cartoons is not funny that's why my comment seems funnier. You have gotta have a good sense of humor though finding humor in such a bitter truth.

ashish514 has hit the nail on the head. One of the few sensible comments on here.

@Syed Mohammad Faisal : get some elementary knowledge in counting and @Sanawana: your comment is more hilarious than the cartoon..LOL

Reading this discussion, i smell something burning somewhere. Some comments are just hilarious like "it should be inverse because Sachin got out by Shoaib on 98". Dude you could have at least deleted "on 98" at the end. I admit Shoaib got better of Sachin a few times, but a few other times he has been taken to the cleaners by Sachin. So what we have seen is a good contest between these two.The context of this cartoon is the WC2003 match where clearly Sachin had the upper hand (except if you are the person whom i quoted above) @Asadullah Qureshi- I know legs shaking and all, as Mr. Doom Doom will want you to believe??

Posted by Salluoo7 on (November 7, 2012, 7:25 GMT)

sorry this one is too bad what afridi says that i saw tendulker leg shaking against tendulcer why will he fair him not a good one

Posted by Sanawana on (November 6, 2012, 17:15 GMT)

Sachin was his favorite bunny so i'm not amused that much... keep it up though! good try!

As Counter Strike Correctly pointed out ,the interview of Wasim is also considered by the cartoonist and Wasim was asked why he did not continued bowling Akhtar who was the strike bowler at Wasim said after the first over shoib was scared and was not willing to bowl and because of that the older guys like himself and Waqaur had to continue.

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 18:44 GMT)

he made 22 against him that day and little tendulkar got bowled by akhtar atleast 8-10 times the cartoonist needs to grow up he always produce something positive to india

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 18:21 GMT)

why would he be scared of the ice cream if that helped Sachin? it should help him too right?

sorry Satish, cant find anything remotely funny about this cartoon as Akhtar retired about 2 yrs ago and the incident is around 10 yrs ago

One of the comment from a reader is "But why are all your cartoons supporting only India?"; are you serious? I have been following Satish's cartoon from when he started. This statement can not be more wrong. Satish is always fair with his cartoon and he doesn't leave anybody either he is Indian or Australian.

Good job Satish. Another good one from you. :)

It is Tendulkar who feared Shoaib, not the other way round

The title of this page is 'I Scream' hahah hilarious !!!

lol Nice carton hehehe... I remember Wasim Akram said in an interview about this match that after Sachin drubbed Pak bowlers in first few overs, Akhtra was scared to bowl to Sachin and he simply refused to bowl.

Satish! Very good! Please could you also make a cartoon on Raina. Now how is he going to take a revenge when he is not selected in the squad against England? Looking forward to your imagination and creativity.

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 11:30 GMT)

Doesn't make sense to me as it should be inverse because Sachin got out by Shoaib on 98!

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 9:46 GMT)

Well, Sachin recently talked about his interests in cooking and about how much he likes eating different dishes. For fun, he was telling which food he ate before a few of his famous innings. He said that he ate ice cream before that 98 runs match in the 2003 world cup. The cartoon shows that Shoaib has bad memories with ice cream since then. Well done Satish. But why are all your cartoons supporting only India? I would like more diversity. (I'm an Indian).

For any one missing the point....Sachin had recently mentioned in one of his interview that he had a bowl of ice cream as lunch during this match....and this happens to be a match which Shoaib Akhthar likes to forget...

In the current context, this one looks pretty ordinary

Posted by ramli on (November 5, 2012, 8:06 GMT)

That is Shoaib Akthar ... who was clobbered by SRT in 2003 WC ... okay ... so SA is fearing the sight of ice cream ... very difficult to bring even a smile on seeing the cartoon ... sorry

Posted by IshanH on (November 5, 2012, 8:05 GMT)

If ice cream helped, Sachin to perform... Shoaib should be having it right?? (rather than saying NO) :o ..coz it doesn't look like going to another table!

Posted by Nightbat on (November 5, 2012, 7:55 GMT)

The cricketer is Shoaib Akhar ... but not sure what the cartoon means ...

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 7:55 GMT)

sachin made 97 in that match vs Pakistan including the famous six over third man of akthar

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 7:44 GMT)

The person signified in the cartoon looks like Shoaib Akthar. But Sachin having ice cream before his knock of 98?? Why is it being talked now?

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 7:10 GMT)

missing the point here .. can some body explain .... the cricketer in the cartoon resembles whom?

Posted by himohan007 on (November 5, 2012, 6:34 GMT)

Though Indian and big SRT fan, I admit that ths is the worst cartoon. Also very ugly sketch

Posted by   on (November 5, 2012, 4:53 GMT)

Satish's spokesman please come and explain
