Durham fast bowler Steve Harmison is likely to miss the next three County Championships games after suffering a cracked forearm. X-rays revealed a crack had occurred when Harmison was struck on the forearm during Durham's first innings against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl last week. "Stephen, at the non-strikers end, was hit by a drive from Phil Mustard," Durham coach Geoff Cook told BBC Sport. "He's going to be two or three weeks before he can play again."
Harmison bowled just two deliveries during Hampshire's first innings and did not bowl for the rest of the match. Durham's next three games are against Yorkshire, Sussex and Warwickshire. The arm injury is the latest setback in the career of the 32-year-old seamer, who last played for England in the 2009 Ashes.
