State Northern Spirit fixture in Te Puke abandoned

The State League match between the State Northern Spirit and the State Auckland Hearts scheduled to be played in Te Puke this Saturday, January 11 has been abandoned.

Such has been the volume of rain in the past 24 hours the park has been rendered unplayable.

The second match to be played at the same venue on Sunday, January 12 is also threatened and weather conditions will be monitored as the match is reviewed.
