Simple catch by Lynn on the ring at chest height.. 10/1 1.6 to MT Renshaw, short on sixth stump, awkward pull to deep square leg, almost as if he wanted to play the shot then suddenly remembered halfway through that there was a fielder on the boundary positioned there. It was a shot that had regret written all over it as it was in the process of being played. Regret because he has indeed picked out the fielder who jogs in 10 yards from the rope to take this at head height.. 12/2 11.4 to RA Whiteley, short and wide on sixth stump, goes to cut and defeated by extra bounce. Billings gets greedy shuffling across his stumps too far one more time trying to scoop over fine leg but Agar nails the base of leg stump with a yorker.. 162/7 19.4 to JJ Bazley, back of a length on off, top-edged pull swirls to Lynn at short third man on the ring. 8.1 to M Bryant, slower ball lands as a half-volley on middle, flicks this loosely high and deep but doesn't clear wide long-on and a basic catch is taken five yards in from the rope at chest height.. 64/3 8.4 to JJ Peirson, bounced out! Short on fifth stump, goes to pull this and clobbers it very flat to deep backward square. There's a touch of doubt as to whether this pitched in line too much, and also if it was swinging in too much. Ball-tracking shows that it has indeed pitched in line and was straightening to hit leg stump rather than missing. 1.4 to MW Short, back of a length on fifth stump, flicks this awkwardly a mile high over short fine leg. But the fielder Neser gets into position early shuffling to his left along the ring and looks very comfortable taking this in front of his face.. 14/2 4.5 to AJ Hose, short on middle, pulls this flat to deep backward square leg. The trap was set and Hose falls into it hook line and sinker. Kuhnemann barely moved from his position five yards in from the rope and takes this catch at head height.. 38/4 14.2 to T Kelly, wide yorker, chips this awkwardly pushing his hands out in front before it can land and slices a skier to deep point. Not really a catching position intended but the ball skies out to the fielder in somewhat bizarre fashion. It carries to the fielder who slides to take a catch 20 yards in from the rope.. 111/5 16.5 to Rashid Khan, short ball on fifth stump at full pace 129 kph, goes to pull and skews this off the splice with a top edge fluttering to mid-on.
