A bit of a half-tracker on leg stump, and Stubbs will be kicking himself at having gotten out to this. Made room, got good contact but hit it too flat and too close to Primus at deep mid wicket. Simple enough catch, and the Patriots lose their third!. 77/3 13.4 to OF Smith, Springer has three, and the Falcons break a dangerous-looking partnership! Banged into the track just outside off. Seems like a slower one and the ball grips in the surface, cutting back into Smith. He gets cramped for room on the upper-cut and ends up spooning it straight to Imad at short third. An enterprising cameo by Smith, though, and it has taken the Patriots closer to the finish line!. 111/4 13.5 to RR Rossouw, big appeal by Springer, and given! Short, wide and there to be hit. Rossouw probably cannot believe what has been dished out and tries to thrash it through the off side. Gets the faintest of tickles, though, and he has to depart. Billings, it must be said, was not even interested in the appeal. Springer was, and the umpire swiftly raised his finger. Huge moment in the game!. 111/5
