0.1 to SW Bates, thumped on the front pad, and Bates has to depart for a golden duck in her 350th international appearance! But hang on. Bates wants to have another look! Angled in on a back of a length on middle and leg. Bates shuffles across a touch and then plays all around it. Rapped on the knee roll and this seemed to be heading towards the stumps. This could be a wasted review, but Bates will hope there is something for her to cling on to. No bat involved. Pitching in line, impact in line, and the ball is hitting leg stump! Bates yet to get off the mark at this Women's World Cup, and this is a huge moment early in the piece!. 0/1

45.3 to JM Kerr, straight down de Klerk's throat, and Khaka is on the board as well! This, to be fair to Kerr, is in the slot just outside off. Her eyes light up and she cannot resist the temptation to have a pop at it. Gets a good chunk of it but not enough elevation to clear the fielder at long on. Simple enough chance in the end for the South African all-rounder, and NZ continue losing their way!. 222/8

12.6 to AC Kerr, the pressure has led to Kerr playing a big shot and SA have a big wicket! This is accurate stuff from de Klerk - length there and thereabouts, just outside off. Kerr looks to have a big swipe at that and ends up slicing it wide of mid-off, where Luus takes an excellent, low catch moving swiftly to her left.. 44/2

38.1 to BM Halliday, tossed up, Halliday looks to slog-sweep but gets a top-edge and the bowler does exceedingly well, not just to call for it, but also quickly move to her left, keep her eyes on the ball and take the catch. Halliday with a superb hand.. 187/4
40.1 to ML Green, another strike for Mlaba! Green's attempt to play the reverse finds Bosch's hands at backward point. Two in two, SA come back into the contest. NZ stutter again.. 195/5
44.2 to SFM Devine, off the pad and into the stumps! Devine cannot believe it, and Mlaba has bagged the big fish! Pushed in much fuller and quicker on middle and leg. Seems to come in further with the arm and Devine cannot quite flick it away. Misses it and the ball kisses the back pad before trundling into the stumps. Slightly unfortunate for Devine and after all the hard work she has put in, perhaps anti-climactic too. Massive wicket for SA at this stage!. 220/7
46.5 to LMM Tahuhu, is that a plane? Is that a bird? No, it is Wolvaardt flying through the air! Floated up full outside off. Tahuhu, sitting deep in her crease, throws her hands at it. Laces her stroke and for the longest time, it feels that she will get it past extra cover. Until...Wolvaardt takes matters into her own hands (quite literally). Leaps forward and to her right, flings out her right mitt and makes the ball stick. She reacts as if nothing has happened, and gets mobbed by her teammates soon after. An early contender for being the catch of the tournament, and South Africa are just one wicket away from bowling NZ out now!. 226/9
302418.0095000
25.4 to GE Plimmer, holes out to long on, and Plimmer has been put out of her misery! Smart, smart bowling by Tryon. She knows Plimmer is feeling the pinch of the scoring rate and throws this one up on a fullish length on middle and off. Plimmer hares down, trying to smash it over the bowler's head but the bat face closes upon impact, primarily because she is not to the pitch of the ball. Arrows it to de Klerk on the fence, and Tryon, in her first over, is on the board!. 101/3

2.5 to L Wolvaardt, enormous lbw shout, but the umpire says no! Back of a length delivery, pitching just outside off and hooping back in greatly. Wolvaardt, caught on the crease, plays all around it and gets pinned on the pad. Seemed to be heading down but NZ, after a chat, have taken this upstairs. There is a very, very slight murmur when the ball is next to the bat, but that does not seem tangible enough to determine bat is involved. Ball Tracking comes up and...reckons the ball would have smashed into leg stump. Wolvaardt has to go, and NZ are overjoyed!. 26/1

31.1 to T Brits, a wild hack across the line, and Brits' knock comes to an end! Well, this was a little unexpected and perhaps anti-climactic too. Slower ball on a back of a length on middle stump. Brits wants to smash this into next week and for perhaps the first time tonight, loses her shape. Loses track of the ball too, and it thunders into middle stump. She walks off to a standing ovation from the South African dressing room. A few NZ fielders walk up for a handshake too, and this knock has put SA on the brink of a massive win!. 185/2

34.6 to M Kapp, miscued a mile up, and Jess Kerr, with more at stake, holds on! Floated up full outside off and Kapp is tempted into the big shot. Does not get close enough to the pitch of the ball, though, and has to reach out in front. Clinks it right off the toe-end and Jess Kerr, running back a little from mid off, makes no mistake, much to her younger sister's delight. Muted celebrations from NZ, but that wicket could help drag this game out a little more and soften the blow of NRR!. 207/3
36.3 to A Bosch, Bosch perishes in pursuit of quick runs! Kerr dangles the carrot on leg stump and Bosch bites. She skips down, looking to go over mid on. Cloths it badly, though, and only gets the height she wants. Bates back-pedals from mid on, keeps her eyes on the ball throughout and takes it smartly in front of her face, while falling backwards!. 213/4
