Pakistan 141 for 8 (Zaman 27, Nawaz 25, Rashid 3-38) beat Afghanistan 66 (Nawaz 5-19, Muqeem 2-9, Abrar 2-17) by 75 runs
A remarkable five-wicket haul from Mohammad Nawaz - including a hat-trick - on a surface that gripped on a dewy Sharjah night helped Pakistan steamroll to the tri-series title, scything though Afghanistan for 66 and securing a 75-run win. The 141 Pakistan put up in a spasmodic display after electing to bat first appeared inadequate halfway through, but an astonishing spell either side of the powerplay saw Afghanistan lose five wickets for four runs. It asphyxiated the chase before it began, giving Pakistan a handy boost ahead of the start of the Asia Cup next week.
No side has lost a match after batting first throughout this tournament, and Salman Agha made no secret that was the reason he opted to set a target at the toss. Pakistan ran into early trouble when Sahibzada Farhan's quiet series whimpered out as he fell for a first-over duck. Pakistan rebuilt cautiously but with Afghanistan's spinners assisted by the deck, never truly breaking free. Several batters fell after starts, and by the end of the stuttering innings, none had crossed 30.

Mishara's maiden fifty seals Sri Lanka's T20I series against Zimbabwe

He added an unbroken 117 for the third wicket with KJ Perera as SL chased 192 down

Sri Lanka 193 for 2 (Mishara 73*, Perera 46*, Evans 1-28) beat Zimbabwe 191 for 8 (Marumani 51, Raza 28, Hemantha 3-38) by eight wickets
Zimbabwe put forward a team effort led by Tadiwanashe Marumani's fourth T20I fifty to post an imposing 191 for 8. But Sri Lanka's top four batters made light work of their target by ending the game with 14 balls and eight wickets to spare. With it, Sri Lanka took the series 2-1.
Kamil Mishara will be the name on everyone's lips after the game, though, with his 73 not out off 43 balls the shining light in an outstanding display of batting from the Sri Lankans. Pathum Nissanka (30 from 20 deliveries) and Kusal Mendis (30 off 17) once more delivered a strong start in the powerplay. But while Sri Lanka have long struggled to maintain that momentum, on Sunday, Mishara and the returning Kusal Perera dusted off the 192 chase with ease with an unbeaten stand of 117 from 63 balls.

England 414 for 5 (Bethell 110, Root 100, Buttler 62*, Smith 62) beat South Africa 72 (Archer 4-18, Rashid 3-13) by 342 runs
Jacob Bethell cracked the first hundred of his professional career as England thrashed South Africa by a record margin in Southampton. Bethell's 110 off 82 balls, a timely reminder of his immense talent, was more than South Africa's batters managed between them as Jofra Archer ran through their top order in a blistering new-ball spell to set up a thumping consolation win.
At 21, Bethell became the second-youngest England player to score a men's ODI hundred and set the platform for a huge total in a 182-run partnership with fellow centurion Joe Root, who hardly broke a sweat. South Africa were never likely to chase 415 even if Temba Bavuma - who strained a calf in the field - had been fit to bat, but after a dramatic collapse it took a last-wicket stand of 15 for them to surpass their lowest-ever ODI score of 69.

Pretorius' late sixes trump Pollard's to help Amazon Warriors clinch thriller

Pollard smashed the fastest half-century of this CPL, off 17 balls, but it wasn't enough

Guyana Amazon Warriors 168 for 7 (Hope 53, Hetmyer 49, Pretorius 26*, Narine 2-12, Hosein 2-35) beat Trinbago Knight Riders 167 for 5 (Pollard 54*, Bravo 33, Moeen 1-11, Pretorius 1-36) by three wickets
Dwaine Pretorius' late sixes trumped Kieron Pollard's in a tense chase of 168 to start Guyana Amazon Warriors' home stretch with a victory and boost their playoff chances. They are fourth now on the points table, just one point behind Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, but with three matches in hand compared to one for Falcons. Trinbago Knight Riders, second on the table and already through to the playoffs, were lifted to a competitive score single-handedly by Pollard's unbeaten 54 off 18, but it didn't prove to be enough on a night where batting got easier later on, according to Pretorius.
Amazon Warriors were in a spot of bother once their set batters Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer were gone by the 16th over and they needed 38 to win off 18. Pretorius, fresh on the back of his 53 off 34 against Barbados Royals two days ago, ended the 18th over, from Andre Russell, with consecutive sixes to bring it down from 19 to 12, and further eased the nerves in the last over, of which they needed nine, with a hack over wide long-on off Pollard before they reached the target with a ball to spare.

The visitors posted 190 for six after winning the toss, Alex Davies top-scoring with 71 off just 39 balls, with 13 fours. Rob Yates provided a lightning start with 25 off ten deliveries, but Ben Green's two for 30 enabled Somerset to peg their opponents back.

Liam Livingstone 85* muscles Lancashire past Kent

Allrounder also takes two wickets as concerted bowling display helps set up return to Finals Day

Sri Lanka slump to their second-lowest T20I total as Zimbabwe romp to series-levelling win

Raza, Muzarabani and Evans shared eight wickets among them to never give the visitors a sniff

Zimbabwe 84 for 5 (Musekiwa 21*, Burl 20*, Chameera 3-19) beat Sri Lanka 80 (Mishara 20, Raza 3-11, Evans 3-15, Muzarabani 2-14) by five wickets
Sri Lanka crashed to their second-lowest T20I total ever, going down for 80 inside 18 overs, as Sikandar Raza, Brad Evans, and Blessing Muzarabani shared eight wickets between them. At no point in their batting innings did Sri Lanka stage even a mild recovery. There was a 26-run partnership for sixth wicket, but even that appeared laboured, and had multiple close calls.
Zimbabwe's top partnership was also worth just 26, but they strung greater periods of batting competence together, even in the face of some penetrative bowling from Dushmantha Chameera. Tashinga Musekiwa's assured 21 not out off 12 balls helped the hosts stroll to victory in the 15th over.

Gous leads Falcons to last-ball victory, Royals continue to be winless

Brandon King's unbeaten 98 went in vain as Chris Green put down four catches in the chase

Antigua and Barbuda Falcons 188 for 6 (Gous 85* Wickham 26, Sams 3-29) beat Barbados Royals 187 for 4 (King 98*, Rutherford 29, Irshad 2-13) by four wickets
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons nearly lost grip of the last-ball thriller in Bridgetown with their over-reliance on singles and doubles in a tense chase of 188, but Shamar Springer hit the winning runs for them to strengthen their third spot on the points table. It meant Barbados Royals continued to scrape the bottom without a single victory to their name so far this season, as they failed to defend 187 after Brandon King's 98 not out.
Royals captain Rovman Powell thought they had enough runs at the halfway mark but two Royals fielders went on to drop six catches - Chris Green four and Daniel Sams two - which hampered their chances of getting their first victory. Royals have just one point from six games season, their qualification chances narrowing with every loss.

Hossan century underpins powerful Bangladesh win in first Youth ODI

Minto stars for England with five-for, but Ratan takes 4 for 9 to seal comfortable victory

Bangladesh U19 292 (Hossan 100, Minto 5-68) beat England U19 205 (Mohammed 75, Ratul 4-9) by 87 runs
Rizan Hossan's authoritative century off 101 balls outdid a five-wicket haul from Durham's James Minto and a sparkling 75 from Isaac Mohammed as Bangladesh Men U19s beat England Men U19s by 87 runs in the first Youth One-Day International at Loughborough.
Despite a confident start, a target of 293 proved too much for the hosts, as England dramatically collapsed from 132 for two to 205 all out. Bangladesh's spinners combined to take eight wickets. Samiun Basir Ratul stood out with outstanding figures of 4.2-0-9-4.
