Gets this yorker right in the blockhole and under the bat, smashing into middle stump. Great sight for the bowler. 41/1 19.5 to AD Russell, Athanaze pouches it down his throat at deep midwicket! Ahmad continues his rich vein of form, Pooran is absolutely despondent, mistimes a shot back to the bowler and couldn't get on top of the ball, it kicked off the turf and it's a big wicket. 18.1 to KA Pollard, Round the wicket, flighted and low full toss, that was a nothing ball but Pollard has made a mess of it. Takes a big stride out and was looking to clear long-on but didn't get the middle, ball lobbed up and nestles in Holder's big bucket hands at long-off. Back of a length, curling away slightly outside off, he tries to flick it across the line, ball just kissed the outside edge and Bravo takes a superb catch at the slip cordon. Cornwall perishes without troubling the scorers. It was thumped into the deck and surprised Cornwall with the extra bounce, just a lazy and reckless heave across the line, startled by the kick off the turf. Riders couldn't have asked for a better start. 0/1 0.4 to KR Mayers, Yelping for an lbw and umpire thinks otherwise. Consultation between the bowler and captain. Pollard decides to use a review. This is a fair delivery. Pitched up and gets it to shape in from middle and leg, there is not contact with the bat. Pitching in line, impact in line and wickets hitting the decision has to be OVERTURNED! My goodness, that didn't look out in real time but not only it pitched in the line of the stumps but didn't swing as much as I thought. What a review, another batter goes without getting off the mark! Russell on fire.. 1/2 2.2 to A Athanaze, Launches the ball straight into the hands of Pooran at mid-on who gobbles it up gleefully. Cleverly changes his length again, thumped into the deck and it rises steeply, cramping him for room, goes for an ambitious pull, it hits him high on the blade and it's not under-control, a simple catch for Pooran. Tossed up on a length and gets it to turn away sharply outside off, tried to play jailbreak shot, cutting it hard but not getting the middle, Bravo couldn't cling on in the first attempt but recovered well and caught in the second attempt. Excellent catch, they are all celebrating!. 34/6 9.2 to RE van der Merwe, Procession at the moment as van der Merwe is adjudged lbw! Nagging middle-stump line and he can't tuck it away, massive yahoo across the line. That looked stone dead and umpire didn't show any hesitation in raising the finger. Slightly fuller and turning away extravagantly outside off, draws him forward and then rips it past the outside edge. Lost his balance and he knows his backfoot wasn't inside the crease so he is not even waiting for the umpire and is walking off. The replay confirms his foot was a few inches outside the crease and Tucker does well to whip off the bails in a jiffy.. 49/9 12.1 to OC McCoy, Beautiful loop from Salamkheil and lured him into going for the big shot. He throws the kitchen sink at it and is caught at deep midwicket. This is the heaviest defeat by the margin of runs in the history of CPL.. 61/10 | ||||||||||
