Against all odds, India defeat the hosts and get to the finals. They'll find out who joins for the gold medal match in a few hours. Live coverage will continue here on ESPNcricinfo as Australia take on New Zealand. We'll see you there. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, my fellow commentator, Andrew McGlashan, and our scorer, Binoy George.

Harmanpreet Kaur: (On her exuberance) I had to be fired up, because if I am charged the team would be involved and they'd never think we're out of the game. (On the start with the bat) Shafali did well in patches, sometimes it's hard to go when you don't get strike. She'll learn about staying in and find ways to overcome such situations. But Smriti was fantastic. (On Jemimah's injury and not taking the field in the last over) Jemimah is a fighter, these things happen. She will be fine, she got a little strain on her hand but she should be able turn up for the final. (On bowling Shafali) She's very confident, we need someone who asks to bowl. You need to mix up the pace, so we tried to use her to vary the speeds. One of her overs went well but the other was expensive. (On being asked if she'll watch the second Semi-final) I definitely will, to learn from it and make our plans for the final.

Smriti Mandhana: (What she was going through in the last over) I was trying to remember the last-ball matches and hoped we would get over the line. We haven't done that well, so more than my fielding, I was hoping to get over the line this time. (On the bowling order and changes) We have given a few overs but with matches like this, roles have to be changed. Deepti's overs in the middle were important. Rana was amazing bowling with only three fielders in the deep. That will be remembered for a long time. (On her batting form) I was batting well in the last 2-3 weeks, it was like I was 2-3 years back. I'm happy to have found the touch, hope it will continue in the final too. (On the atmosphere) The crowd is amazing, we usually have the majority but England had it today. I'll take half an hour for the feeling to sink in.

Ritwik Kapur: "Whatever said and done, Shefali shouldn't have been given over 16, especially when you have a remaining quota of Meghana and Radha. "

Kunal: "Sneh Rana, you beauty, you never disappoint us"

Vikash: "I take back everything I said earlier. Bravo Girls! Super Proud!"

2:12 pm: Well, who would have thunk it?! India manage to hold their nerve and beat hosts, England to ensure a medal in CWG 2022. Did this slip off the hosts' hands or was it India pulling through? You decide. But here's how it went in the second innings. The powerplay, like in the first, was great for the batters. Dunkley and Wyatt got going, it meant Renuka did not get her customary overs in the first six. Deepti came in, she had a good match-up against Dunkley and got her. Capsey started well but her stay was cut-short by a run out. Sciver, who came in, did not takeoff. And after Wyatt pulled a ball back on to her stumps, Amy Jones joined her. After some consolidation, she was pushing along but Sneh Rana tightened the screws. In the last stretch, Jones and Sciver got boundaries but tried to go for risky runs and found themselves short. Rana, along with Pooja, finished off the innings by keeping the boundaries away to take India to the final.
