It's all over, Pakistan win by 8 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the series. Junaid kept his nerve, despite expensive figures earlier on, but it was Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal who tightened the noose in the final over. England didn't bat badly but they left themselves with a little too much to do, failing to appreciate that Misbah had a couple of maverick aces tucked up his shirt sleeve. Still, a closely fought game, sixes, wickets, cheerleaders ... Everyone goes home happy. Oh, and Umar Gul was Man of the Match. Have a good night, ta ra!

Umar Gul to Patel, OUT

full, swinging in and gone! Patel shuffled across, wafted a bat outside the line and was hit on the full, directly in front of off. That was a wicked delivery, ducking inside Patel's attempted stroke. And Gul's on a hat-trick

another for Gul! Necessity is the mother of Buttler's downfall here, the Somerset man stepping outside off and angling his bat, attempting to bounce it over the infield using the pace of the ball ... but it was a slow delivery and Buttler couldn't clear short fine leg standing inside the ring
